Forest Fire Reports (Northwestern Ontario)
Unseasonably warm spring weather and drought conditions have created extreme fire conditions in northern Minnesota and Northwestern Ontario. There are a number of forest fires currently burning in the Lake Superior area.
It is important to remember that the Lake Superior area is very large, Even though the fires are large in size, they are only a small percentage of the overall geographical area.
